Strategic Plan
The Community Fund will use its funds to support a vibrant, healthy, caring and beautiful Mercer Island community.
Strategy 1
The Community Fund will exercise excellent judgment in the management of the funds donated and the award of grants, consistent with its mission and vision.
Strategy 2
The Community Fund will actively seek new ways to strengthen and expand its presence in the Mercer Island community by encouraging ongoing financial support of its work by the community; effectively communicating the availability of funds to benefit the community; and proactively seeking grant applications from a variety of community agencies.
Strategy 3
The Community Fund Board will ensure its continued success and viability by recruiting committed volunteer board members from the Mercer Island community and by honoring the time and talents of those members through reasonable expectations, a sense of fun and a continuing relationship with board graduates as members of the Advisory Board.
